Chitra Subbarayan brings over 20 years of real estate experience representing buyers and sellers of commercial real estate in metro Atlanta. As Principal at CBD, LLC, Ms. Subbarayan works closely with public and private entities to create innovative, mixed-use real estate projects to accommodate new trends and change demographics. Projects are typically tied to City centers or corridor catalysts designed to create quality development and attract jobs and amenities to the area. In representing property owners, she is involved in the acquisition, disposition and leasing of properties. Her recent transactions include the acquisition of Pullman Yards from the State of Georgia, leases with DeKalb County Government and the Georgia Department of Labor. On the tenant representation side she represented Senior Services North Fulton in the relocation of their corporate offices.  She was also responsible for locating biotech companies in opportunity zones near Georgia Tech resulting in high-paying jobs for tech graduates. Prior to starting her own brokerage firm in 2017, she was with Ackerman & Co. for 17 years as an associate broker in their Brokerage Division. She is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and LEED Accredited Professional. She is a member of the Atlanta Commercial Board of Realtors.
